Sister Susan Michelle Dubec passed away on June 5, 2009. She was a member of Milwaukee Achiever’s Board of Directors for three years (2002 — 2005), representing her religious community, the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
Sister Susan Michelle was a Sister for 45 years, serving in many different ministries. Her beginning years of religious life were spent in Wisconsin where she was a teacher and then a principal. From 1985—1994, she worked in pastoral ministry in Alaska.
Returning to the Midwest in 1995, she pursued further education at Loyola University in Chicago, then served in pastoral ministry positions in Madison and Milwaukee. Sister Susan Michelle also served as a Provincial Councilor for the School Sisters of Notre Dame from 2001-2005.
